Configuration-specific

Before you begin

For TRON 2 bipedal and wheeled-leg configurations only. Start with an assembled, wired robot. Check the existing connections against the wiring reference and read the operating requirements. Use a level surface with adequate friction. Keep the robot in sight and at least 1 metre from people, obstacles and water. A safety tether may be used during remote control or early development validation.

This is a basic-operation reference. No compatible legged VLA example has been supplied, so completing walking does not complete the two-hour VLA onboarding goal.

Never connect a 24V power cable to a 48V port. If wiring is uncertain, do not power on; contact support.

Power on and connect

Follow the configuration-specific illustrations and steps in Power on & shut down. Confirm the status light has changed from flashing white to a steady operating colour and the controller shows a signal before continuing.

Stand up

While idle, use R1 + right / left direction to select remote-control mode. In idle, press L1 + ○ to enter the ready state. From the ready state, press L1 + △ to stand up.

Try movement

While standing in remote-control mode, use the left stick for forward/backward movement and the right stick for turning. Lateral movement with the left stick applies to the bipedal configuration only. See the controller reference for all commands.

Pressing both stick buttons simultaneously cuts motor power immediately; the robot may fall. Emergency stop is not the normal shutdown procedure.

Finish safely

In remote-control mode, press L1 + X to fold down and land safely. Then complete the configuration-specific shutdown procedure.

Completion check

  • Installation, wiring and robot configuration checked.
  • Remote-control, idle, ready and standing states understood.
  • Standing, forward/backward movement and turning completed.
  • Emergency stop understood and normal shutdown completed.

This is an editorial basic-operation guide based on User Manual sections 3.1–3.4 and 4.5. Hardware validation, a compatible VLA example and English editorial review are pending.
